    Hello Brother.

    Turning my attention to the Comma Johanneum again. This time I was wondering if you could help me track down the exact reference in the Greek writer Joseph Bryennius (circa. 1350-1430 C.E.)?

    I can't find out the name of the exact work, book/letter, chapter, section/verse etc, so that I can have a look at manuscript copies.

    As you have often shown, printed texts are not always reliable.

    The first printed editions were made by Egenius Voulgaris [Eugene Bulgaris?] in the 1700's. Eugenius, in correspondence with Christianus Fridericus Matthaei (SS. Apostolorum Septem Epistolae Catholicae, Pg LV onwards) apparently assures Matthaei that the Comma was indeed in the manuscripts (at least in the Latin text which Bryennius quotes from Thomas Aquinus) yet, has anyone ever seen one of these manuscripts to verify this? Not to my knowledge at least.

    Any information you can come up with would be appreciated.

    Not yet. Joseph Bryennius being a Greek writer, I thought (perhaps) you might have better access to his manuscripts. It's a work in progress. Hope you're well. Keep safe my brother, and may Jehovah bless you for your faithfulness.
